Chilli ‘Padron’ is a strong, upright plant producing chilli peppers traditionally used in Spanish tapas bars. Pick them when young and green for a mild flavour, or leave them to mature and turn red for more heat. Chilli ‘Padron’ will keep producing peppers all summer if regularly harvested, and the young fruits are delicious stir-fried, grilled or stuffed. Mature fruits have a Scoville heat rating of 8,000 SHU.
