Buddleja, commonly known as the butterfly bush, is an easy to grow deciduous shrub for a sunny position whose long sprays of flowers in late summer are attractive to pollinators. Buddleja davidii ‘Butterfly Tower’ grows in a slender column covered in plump cone-shaped flowers of mauve-purple. The narrow upright form of this handsome shrub makes it suitable for smaller spaces.

Grow Buddleja davidii ‘Butterfly Tower’ in a wildlife garden or create a screen by planting a row of three or more plants. Cut the shrub back hard to less than 90cm in late winter to ensure vigorous re-growth each year.
