Apple ‘Ashmead’s Kernel’ is a much-loved heritage variety dating back to the early 1700s and remains a favourite among apple enthusiasts today. Celebrated for its unique flavour, the fruit is intensely aromatic with a distinctive sweetness often compared to pear drops.
